Prime Minister Officially Closes Central Zone MADANI Rakyat Programme 2024.

KUALA SELANGOR, 25 February 2024 - Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim officiated the Central Zone MADANI Rakyat Programme 2024 Closing Ceremony at the Kuala Selangor Sports Complex here today.
His was accompanied on arrival by Selangor Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari, Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad and Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohd Zuki Ali.
According to the organising secretariat, the programme, which concluded today, recorded a total of 127,000 visitors throughout the three days it was held, surpassing the initial target of 100,000 people.
He added that the programme, a continuation of the MADANI Government One Year Programme, is a forum for the community to obtain information about 163 services of the federal government, states and related agencies.
Among them, the Mega MADANI and Agro MADANI sales, Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) traffic summons discount counter, Rahmah Cash Aid (STR) registration counter and Road Transport Department (JPJ) mobile service to facilitate driving licence renewal, and exchange of helmets for the first 1,000 visitors each day.
Also, an exhibition of government assets, mobile services for dental check-ups and treatments, blood donation campaigns, recycling services, massage therapy and cosmetology services, and open interviews for job opportunities.
The Madani Rakyat Programme will continue to the Northern Zone next, with Penang scheduled as host from 27 to 29 April, the Eastern Zone in Pahang (28-30 June), Southern Zone in Johor (25-27 July), Sarawak (27-29 September), and concluding in Sabah from 18 to 20 October.
Also present representing the Perak State Government were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin and State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin.
The Perak State Government booth focused on the Perak Sejahtera Plan 2030, Visit Perak Year 2024, Usahawan@Perak, Halal Meat Hub@Halal Hub, Centre of Investment (COI)@InvestPerak, and was enlivened with cultural performances.
