Perak State Government Celebrates Success Of District And Land Offices.

The State Government is considering giving a special land administration incentive to PTG employees for recording the highest revenue collection in history, i.e. RM1.21 billion.

IPOH, 8 March 2024- The Muallim District and Land Office (PDT) dominated two awards, i.e. the Outstanding PDT Award and Pekasa Award at the Perak Land Administration Appreciation Night at Galasa Caldwell here.

The presentation of the awards was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, accompanied by State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin and State Land and Mines (PTG) director Dato' Fariz Mohamad Hanip, who is also the chairman and organiser of the event.

The Efficient Registration Award was won by PDT Kerian, while PDT Larut Matang won the Perak Land Governance Award and PDT Kecil Ipoh won the Exceptional Revenue Award.

Dato' Seri Saarani in his speech said that civil servants in land administration are among the backbone of the Perak State Government and it is our responsibility to always give the best.

"Every time there is a State Assembly sitting, issues involving land matters are among the most frequently raised. Although there are those who gave praise and appreciation, there are also those who criticised and reprimanded, in addition to suggesting measures for improvement.

"Hence, we need to constantly make modifications to ensure that whatever shortcomings in the delivery system, we can fix them quickly and thoroughly," he elaborated.

He added that the State Government is considering giving a special land administration incentive to PTG employees for recording the highest revenue collection in history, i.e. RM1.21 billion in 2023.

At the same event, Dato' Seri Saarani launched the Perak Land Management Procedures Book which is equipped with a QR code for easy access to circulars and directives for each matter.

Also present were Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun and state land administrators.
