Handing Over Ceremony Of Raya Goodies 2024.

Dato' Seri Saarani expressing his appreciation for the services and sacrifices of these bodies in sacrificing their time and life for the sake of our beloved country.

IPOH, 3 April 2024 - The state government continued with the tradition of donating Raya goodies by distributing 11,000 Raya food boxes to 17 security forces and uniformed bodies in conjunction with the arrival of Syawal this year.

The handover ceremony at the Perak State Secretariat Banquet Hall was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad.

In his speech, he expressed his appreciation for the services and sacrifices of these bodies in sacrificing their time and life for the sake of our beloved country.

"Our thanks may feel small compared to the sacrifices made. However, allow us to convey our deepest respect and appreciation for every moment, sweat and tear that have been shed to ensure the peace and tranquility of our beloved country is always maintained," he said.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar’s wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin, State Assembly Speaker Dato' Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and State Exco Members.

The distribution of the food boxes involved uniformed bodies, including the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Immigration Department, Special Operations Command 69 Commando, Perak Air Force Academy, Marine Police Force, Royal Malaysian Navy, Perak Health Department, North Brigade General Operations Force, Perak Fire & Rescue Department and 2nd Brigade Camp.

Earlier, the packaging work was assisted by 200 personnel, comprising Perak State Secretariat staff, BAIDURI, PUSPANITA, BAKAT (Sea), BAKAT (Land), BAKAT (Air), PERKEP Perak IPK Contingent, PERKEP Perak North Brigade, Persatuan Prihatin Wanita, PERISMA and 2nd Brigade Team.

The items provided in the Raya food boxes were rendang tok, dodol, serunding and coffee.
