Perak State Government Presents Incentives To Pensioners.

IPOH, 3 April 2024 - The Perak State Government presented incentive of RM4,000 to retirees of the State Government, Local Authorities (PBT) and State Statutory Bodies.
The handover ceremony at the Perak State Secretariat Building was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad.
According to him in a statement, the criteria set are retirees from the management and professional group with service of 15 years and more, and retirees from the executive group with service of 20 years and more. Service is calculated cumulatively in the Perak Public Service and must be over 50 years old.
The State Government also presented a retirement gift of RM400 each to all retirees, including retirees who were not eligible to receive incentive as their length of service in the Perak Public Service was less than the set criteria.
The two categories of recipients were eligible retirees who received incentive and retirement gift totalling RM4,400 and non-eligible retirees who received retirement gift of RM400.
The incentives and retirement gifts were given in the form of Bank Simpanan Nasional Premium Savings Certificate.
The presentation ceremony today included 10 representatives of the Perak Government Pensioners for the period 1 July 2022 to 31 December 2023 out of a total of 749 pensioners, involving an allocation of RM2,739,600.
Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin and State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin.
Earlier, there was also a Handover Ceremony of Hari Raya Aidilfitri Goodies by the Perak Menteri Besar to all the Perak State Secretariat staff and the media.
