IPOH, 10 April 2024 - HRH Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Perak State Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration at Stadium Indera Mulia.
Also gracing the event were HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim, HH Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa, HH Raja Puan Besar Perak Raja Nazhatul Shima Idris Shah, HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Idris Shah, HH Raja Puan Muda Perak Tunku Soraya Abdul Halim, HH Raja Kecil Besar Perak Raja Dato' Seri Azlan Muzzaffar Shah Nazrin Shah, HH Raja Kecil Sulong Perak Raja Dato' Seri Ahmad Nazim Azlan Shah Ashman Shah and HH Raja Kecil Tengah Perak Raja Dato’ Seri Iskandar Raja Ziran.
Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad and wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin, Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja Gen. Dato' Seri DiRaja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd. Zahidi Zainuddin (Rtd) and wife Toh Puan Datin Seri Diraja Puan Sri Hajah Rasiah Md. Nor, State Assembly Speaker Dato' Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid and wife Datin Aznee Abu Samah, Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim and wife Datin Che Fauziah Ahmad, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and State Exco Members.
In his speech, Dato' Seri Saarani called on all citizens to be determined and steadfast in building harmony and preserving the values of unity.
"This joyous evening celebration once again proves that the diversity of culture, race and religion, which is a uniqueness of Malaysians for so long, has never been an obstacle to harmony and peace in our country, including in this blessed state of Perak.
"Indeed, the peace we enjoy today is too valuable and there is no alternative. There is no other way to build peace and harmony, other than promoting unity and fostering understanding among us," he said.
Their Royal Highnesses also presented ‘duit raya’ to the residents of Pusat Jagaan Darus Salam, Pusat Jagaan Anak-Anak Yatim dan Miskin Nurul Iman, Pusat Jagaan Yayasan Amanah An-Nur Maisarah, and Pusat Jagaan Persatuan Anak-Anak Yatim Soleha, Tanjung Tualang.
Concluding the event, Sultan Nazrin mingled with the people around the grounds of Stadium Indera Mulia.
