IPOH, 10 November 2023 – State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim chaired the Perak State and Federal Department Heads Liaison Meeting No. 1/2023 at the Perak State Secretariat Main Meeting Room.

The virtual meeting at 3.00 pm involved more than 200 heads of state and federal departments, including district officers and Local Authority Presidents in Perak.

The session started with the chairman's message before continuing with the confirmation of meeting minutes and matters arising.

This was followed with a presentation on the Status of Implementation of Federal Development Projects in Perak by Perak Development Office Director Dato' Shamshuzaman Sulaiman.

Also present were State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun and Perak State Secretariat Division Secretaries.

Meanwhile, Dato' Ahmad Suaidi also congratulated the recipients of Perak state awards in conjunction with HRH Sultan of Perak’s Birthday and expressed his appreciation to the civil servants who have achieved various successes and cooperated successfully in numerous programmes.

He called on all members of the meeting to adhere to the second principle of Rukun Negara, i.e. "Loyalty to King and Country", and to be in preparedness to face the North-East Monsoon (MTL).

He said this when delivering the chairman's message at the meeting.
