Perak State Government Strengthens Civil Servants’ Leadership Capacity.

IPOH, 5 June 2025 – The Perak State Government remains committed to strengthening human capital development in the public sector through the organisation of the State Training Award (HLN) Programme.

This training programme will involve 30 implementing group officers from Grade 2 to Grade 7 participating in the High Performance and Effective Leadership Programme: Implementing the Excellent Service Agenda, in Bandung, Indonesia from 15 June to 21 June 2025.

The group comprises eight service schemes: penghulus, assistant land officers, assistant administrative officers, assistant accountants, assistant engineers, assistant information technology officers, chief administrative assistants, and chief financial administrative assistants.

The offer letter handover ceremony was officiated by Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman at the Perak State Secretariat Library in Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan.

The collaboration programme between the Perak State Government and AJM International Academy Sdn Bhd aims to emphasise aspects of strategic leadership, critical thinking, change management, and decision-making abilities in a complex and challenging policy environment.

Additionally, it also opens up opportunities for participants to gain international level best practices in the effort to improve public service efficiency.

Also present were Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun, and Human Resource Management Division (HRMD) Secretary Azraie Harun.
