Courtesy Visit By National Youth And Sports Department Director-General On Perak State Secretary.

IPOH, 18 August 2025 – State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim today received a courtesy visit from National Youth and Sports Department (JBSN) Director-General Azura Abidin at the Corporate Meeting Room, Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan.

The delegation included JBSN Deputy Director-General (Sports) Abd. Aziz Abd. Rahman, JBSN Sports Promotion and Development Branch Director Nizam  Ismail, JBSN Sports Promotion and Development Branch Deputy-Director Ahmad Syammeil Mohamad Karim, JBS Perak Principal Assistant Director (Youth) Mohd Hafeez Hussein, JBS Perak Senior Assistant Director (Sports) Mohd Syaiful Fahmi Mohd Salleh, JBSN Assistant Youth and Sports Officer Ahmad Shauki Saad, JBS Perak Assistant Youth and Sports Officer Khuzainal Abdul Ghani and Special Officer to JBSN Director-General Rosmawati  Abd Rafor.

Also present at the discussion session were Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman and Management Services Division Secretary Nurul Jaswa Abd Hamid.

This visit aimed to strengthen strategic cooperation between the Perak State Government and JBSN, thus ensuring that youth in the state are not left behind in every planning outlined by the Federal Government. This effort is important in producing fit and resilient youth capable of contributing actively to the development of the state and nation. Hopefully, this close cooperation can expand opportunities for youth involvement in various development and sports programmes, foster a spirit of volunteerism and strengthen youth identity as the main pillar of community well-being and the progress of Perak.

The Perak State Government is always committed to working closely with JBSN in empowering youth and advancing the sports sector, while ensuring that the well-being of the people continues to be a priority.
