Maulidur Rasul Celebrated Modestly Under New Normal.: 27 October 2020.
Frontliners combating the spread of COVID-19 also received souvenirs of appreciation.
IPOH, 27 October 2020 - The Perak State level Maulidur Rasul celebration was celebrated modestly and complied with standard operating procedures under the new normal.
Themed 'Ummah Rabbani, Negara Harmoni' and celebrated modestly at the Sultan Azlan Shah Mosque, Ipoh, the joy was still felt by the 450 attendees including Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu.
Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Zulazlan Abu Hassan and State Exco members.
At the event, Dato' Seri Ahmad Faiza launched the Al-Ridzuan Youth Module Book which aims to instill and build a younger generation to get closer to the mosque.
He also presented souvenirs of appreciation to the frontliners combating the spread of COVID-19 before performing the congregational Maghrib prayers and mass prayers for Prophet Muhammad SAW.
The ceremony continued with a Maulidur Rasul talk by Deputy Perak Mufti Dato' Zamri Hashim before the congregational Isyak prayers with Qunut Nazilah as well as sunat prayers asking for the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic to be stopped.
