Perak State Secretary Conferred Award By HRH Sultan Of Perak: 6 November 2020.

IPOH, 6 November 2020 - State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim was conferred the Darjah Dato' Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (DPCM) which carries the title Dato' in conjunction with HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah’s Birthday Celebration this year.

Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja Jen. Dato' Seri Diraja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd Zahidi Zainuddin said Chief of Defence Forces Gen Tan Sri Dato' Sri Affendi Buang and Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani headed the list of 147 recipients of awards in conjunction with HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah’s 64th Birthday Celebration.

They were conferred the Darjah Seri Panglima Taming Sari (SPTS) which carries the title Dato' Seri Panglima.

HRH Sultan of Perak also conferred the Darjah Dato' Paduka Mahkota Perak (DPMP) to 11 recipients, Darjah Dato’ Pahlawan Taming Sari (DPTS) 5 recipients, Darjah Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (PCM) 9 recipients, Darjah Paduka Mahkota Perak (PMP) 15 recipients, Darjah Ahli Cura Si Manja Kini 9 recipients, Darjah Ahli Mahkota Perak (AMP) 25 recipients, Pingat Pekerti Terpilih (PPT) 27 recipients, Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK) 38 recipients and Pingat Lama Perkhidmatan (PLP) 5 recipients.

"The number of recipients of awards and medals this year is limited compared to last year and only focuses on the frontliners and those who are truly eligible and fulfill the established criteria approved by HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah,” said Tan Sri Zahidi at a press conference at Laman Seri Ridzuan, Ipoh.

He added that the investiture ceremony for the state awards and medals will only be held on a date to be set and depends entirely on the current situation and circumstances following the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

Based on current developments, the main official events of the celebration such as the Royal Banquet, Guard-of-Honour Ceremony, Pledging of Loyalty Ceremony and Investiture Ceremony have to be postponed to a date to be decided later.

Only the Surah Yassin Reading and Doa Selamat Ceremony will be held at the Sultan Idris Shah II Mosque during Friday prayers, today and at all district mosques throughout the state led by the District Territorial Chief and District Officer of the district.
