Ahmad Saidi Mohamad Daud performing the Career Programme 2021 Launch gimmick.

IPOH, 30 March 2021- The Perak State Government, under the Education, Higher Education and Human Resources Committee portfolio, has launched the Career Programme 2021.

State Education, Higher Education and Human Resources Committee Chairman Ahmad Saidi Mohamad Daud said through the Career Programme 2021, various programmes will be planned, such as Weekly Job Interview Sessions with the industry players, Interview Programmes at the district and state level, and Virtual Career Carnival to provide openings to those still looking for employment opportunities.

“Besides that, the Moh Kroje Patrol Squad Roadshow is also an initiative of the State Government in the effort to reach out and help job seekers in urban and rural areas by registering as job seekers and then submitting their information to companies in Perak.

“In line with the Career Programme 2021, the strengthening of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) agenda, which covers various levels of society will also be continued with TVET Skills Modular Training initiative, such as upskilling and reskilling as well as OKU TVET Courses,” he said.

He said this in a press conference at the Career Programme 2021 Launch Ceremony at the Perak State Secretariat Banquet Hall here.

Also present was Perak Children's Aspiration Centre (PASAK) Director Misbahul Munir Masduki.

Meanwhile, along with the Career Programme 2021 Launch Ceremony, the slogan #GERAK, which stands for 'Your Career Gateway', was also launched. The new slogan will bring a commercial value and give a new expression from PASAK to the community, especially in Perak.
