JAIPk Launches Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan.

IPOH, 28 April 2021 - The Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk) has launched the Organisational Anti -Corruption Plan (OACP).

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Saarani Mohamad, who is also the State Islamic Religion, Finance, Security, Land, Natural Resources, Economic Planning and GLC Committee Chairman, said the launch of the plan is to ensure that all JAIPk staff are not involved in corruption.

“Among the contents of the plan are the pledge of integrity and commitment as well as matters related to their responsibilities and trust.

"Every department has its own philosophy and plan, so this initiative is important to strengthen and enhance the integrity of civil servants in terms of administration, finance, discipline and so forth, especially in JAIPk," he said.

He said this after officiating the Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan Launch Ceremony at the Perak Menteri Besar’s Office in Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here.

Also present were Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Perak Director Dato' Mohd Fauzi Mohamad and JAIPk Director Dato' Mohd Yusop Husin.

Meanwhile, Dato' Mohd Yusop Husin said the OACP aims to enhance the various aspects of integrity among staff in the department.

“JAIPk will always be seen as clean and if possible without any corrupt practices, but as a government department there may be mistakes and the exposure to corruption.

"Hence, through this plan, I hope that it can help save and restrain us from getting involved in corruption," he said.
