HRH Sultan Of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah Expresses Appreciation To Frontliners.

Opening Ceremony of the 1st Meeting, 4th Year of the 14th Perak State Assembly at the State Assembly Hall.

IPOH, 25 August 2021- HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah expressed his appreciation to the frontliners for their service and sacrifice in serving during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period.

Sultan Nazrin said the group had shouldered an unexpected heavy responsibility being at the forefront and facing the highest risk of infection. A burden of responsibility that was never imagined by their respective professions.

“Doctors, nurses, health and medical staff, ambulance drivers, hearse drivers, gravediggers and mortuary managers are suddenly hit by unforeseen responsibilities.

“Similarly, the huge risks faced by food deliverymen, staff in grocery stores, supermarkets and pharmacies, public transport operators, members of the security forces and related agencies as well as staff of the various government departments and agencies operating a variety of essential services.

"They have performed a fardu kifayah (communal responsibility) that must be appreciated, and may Allah SWT reward their services and sacrifices with His blessings" the Sultan said.

His Royal Highness said this in his royal address at the Opening of the1st Meeting, 4th Year of the 14th Perak State Assembly at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here today.

Sultan Nazrin then requested all the State Assemblymen to stand and give a round of applause as a token of appreciation to each and every one of the frontliners.

HRH the Sultan also expressed his appreciation to educators who face tough challenges in changing the andragogy and pedagogy landscape digitally, particularly in Home-based Teaching and Learning (PdPR) following Covid-19.

Sultan Nazrin added that educators, students, parents and the various parties directly involved with education face tough trials and challenges.

"I would like to express my appreciation to the educators who have initiated efforts to ensure that the students entrusted under their responsibility are educated to the best possible," he said.

Meanwhile, the 1st Meeting, 4th Year of the14th Perak State Assembly will be held for four days from 25 to 30 August using the Bubble Concept State Assembly Sitting.

Perak is the first state to introduce the Bubble concept for the State Legislative Assembly Sitting to minimise the risk of pandemic spreading and mitigation measures to enable targeted quarantine action in the event of an infection.
