Visit Of TSUK JPM To Pangkor Island Development Projects.

The State Secretary and TSUK JPM looking at the Kampung Sungai Pinang Besar Fishermen Village Redevelopment Project development plan.

PANGKOR, 25 September 2021- Prime Minister's Department (JPM) Senior Deputy Secretary-General (TKSUK) Dato' Jamil Rakon went on a working visit to Pangkor Island to see the development projects there.

The delegation was welcomed by State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim before starting the visit to the Kampung Sungai Pinang Besar Fishermen Village Redevelopment Project to see three completed projects in Kampung Masjid, Kampung Teluk Kecil and Kampung Teluk Gedung.

Apart from that, the delegation was also taken to see a project under construction in Kampung Sungai Pinang Besar (Phase 2 & Phase 3B) where a building project of 1 block, 7 storey apartment house is being developed.

Next, the visit continued with a tour of the proposed Pangkor Island Jetty Terminal Complex Upgrading and Redevelopment Project. The project aims to reduce the congestion problems faced by tourists during the holiday and festive seasons.

Also present were Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun, who is also State Economic Planning Unit Director, Manjung District Officer Shamsul Ridzuan Idris and Manjung Municipal Council Secretary Mohd Helmi Arifin.
