HRH Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah at the Perak State Level Maulidur Rasul Celebration.

IPOH, 18 October 2021 – HRH Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Perak State Level Maulidur Rasul Celebration at the Sultan Azlan Shah Mosque here today.

Accompanying His Royal Highness were HH Perak Regency Council Chairman Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa and HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah.

The ceremony began with a congregational Maghrib Prayer led by Sultan Azlan Shah Mosque Chief Imam Syed Mohd Muzzaffar Syed Azlan.

This was followed by recitation of the holy Quranic verses by former International Level Al-Quran Recitation champion Radzi Kamarul Hailan and Selawat Nabi en masse.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Saarani Mohamad, State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato’ Zulazlan Abu Hassan, Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk) Director Dato’ Mohd Yusop Husin, Perak Police Chief Dato' Pahlawan Mior Faridalatrash Wahid and State Executive Council Members.

At the ceremony, HRH Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah also presented the Media Practitioner Award to Abd Razak Mohd Ali, Pendakwah Award to Muhammad Misyaqirin Thien Abdullah and Keluarga Mithali Award to Datuk Abdul Rasid Nopiah.

Both the Media Practitioner and Pendakwah Award recipients received RM3,000 cash, a plaque and certificate, while the Keluarga Mithali Award recipient received RM5,000, a plaque and certificate.

HRH Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah departed immediately after performing the congregational Isyak Prayer at about 8.30 pm.
