IPOH, 10 January 2022- Ipoh City Council (MBI) and Sunway City Ipoh Sdn Bhd are collaborating on the Jalan Tambun upgrading project at a cost of RM16.35 million.
The project was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad at the Xtreme Park Badminton Hall, Bandar Sunway today.
“An allocation of RM8.0 million was provided by the Perak State Government, while RM8.35 million was borne by Sunway. It comprised the cost of road construction, land acquisition and appointment of consulting engineers.
“The upgrading project starts from the Jalan Persekutuan 240 (Ampang-Jelapang) entrance junction to the Taman Perpaduan traffic lights junction, about 5.2 kilometres away.
