Minister in Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) visiting the storm areas in Kampung Tawas.

IPOH, 2 February 2022 - Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Senator Idris Ahmad visited the housing areas affected by the storm in Kampung Tawas here.

During the visit, Senator Idris Ahmad took the opportunity to inspect the affected areas and presented cash aid of RM300 and food boxes worth RM100 through the Malaysian Family Musa'adah Squad Contribution.

Also present were JAKIM Deputy Director-General (Operations) Dato' Sirajuddin Suhaimee and Kinta District Officer Meor Hezbullah Meor Abdul Malik.

In the incident on Sunday evening, a total of 305 houses were reported affected and expected to increase as there are still more police reports being made.
