IPOH, 14 April 2022 - The involvement of Kelab Seri Perak Darul Ridzuan (KESEDAR) members in various programmes implemented can strengthen friendships among members and enhance a good personality from the spiritual and health aspects.
KESEDAR President Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim opined that the opportunity be used as an initiative to divert attention momentarily from the actual tasks in the office.
“Hopefully, it can help in the management of stress and health holistically, especially in adapting to the new norms of government service delivery.
"Also, the challenge of active participation in associations without interfering with the performance of actual tasks can be likened to riding out a storm at sea because in navigating a large ship, the captain’s aspirations and inspirations must be understood and followed by all crew members constantly and diligently," he said in his speech at the 26th KESEDAR Annual General Meeting at the Perak State Secretariat Banquet Hall.
Also present were KESEDAR Vice President Dato’ Norsham Rahman and Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun.
Dato' Ahmad Suaidi hoped that all KESEDAR members can cooperate in planning and mobilising all efforts to achieve the goals of each programme planned.
"All members have a big role to play, so get involved wholeheartedly and roll up your sleeves, so that we can reap the results together.
“From my observation, the programmes conducted previously have a lot of positive impact and fulfilled the objective to foster a spirit of friendship and understanding among members, regardless of rank.
"Thus, all aspirations, plans and activities organised by KESEDAR henceforth must be competitive and reflect creativity and innovation in order to be a platform for each member to continue to improve their knowledge and abilities," he said.
Even though it was held during the month of Ramadan, the excitement of the 26th KESEDAR Annual General Meeting was still there.
With the good response from KESEDAR members, the event was livened up with a lucky draw for members present at the meeting.
