SUK Perak received a courtesy visit from a IDFR delegation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan.

IPOH, 13 May 2022 - The Perak State Secretariat (SUK Perak) received a courtesy visit from a delegation from the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR), Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here today.

The visit comprised a total of 21 course participants and 10 liaison officers.

The visit was welcomed by State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim and Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun.

Also present was Competency Enhancement Centre (CEC) Director Norli Muadza Mohd Noor.

The State Secretary thanked IDFR for choosing SUK Perak to conduct the Diploma in Diplomacy (DiD) programme for session 1/2022 from 14 February to 24 June 2022.

"Armed with the experience in my service career, I highly recommend that the Administrative and Diplomatic Officers (PTD) who will work abroad to understand and experience the uniqueness and beauty of each state in order to be ambassadors for Malaysia," he said in his welcoming speech.

The courtesy visit then continued with a briefing and question and answer session by Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun.

The main focus of the briefing was to promote and highlight the culture and traditions of Perak to the world.

The courtesy visit concluded with the exchange of souvenirs by both parties.
