The Perak Menteri Besar delivering his speech at the First Sitting of the Second Meeting of the Fifth Year of the 14th Perak State Assembly.

IPOH, 18 July 2022 - The Perak State Government will ensure that no one is marginalised from the Perak Sejahtera Development Plan 2030.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said the plan is dynamic where adjustments and improvements can be made to meet planning needs or unexpected current demands.

"The plan is a state development plan that serves as a guide for the government machinery to plan and plot Perak’s development towards 2030.

"We have a clear goal, which is to ensure a Prosperous Perak, Peaceful People by 2030, and supported with a clear aim to drive sustainable, inclusive and dynamic socioeconomic development," he said.

He said this when answering oral questions at the First Sitting of the Second Meeting of the Fifth Year of the 14th Perak State Assembly at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here today.

Dato' Seri Saarani added that the state government intends to implement sustainable socioeconomic development in facing the various challenges and uncertainties that are and will be occurring in the period up to 2030.

"Development will mean nothing if the spillover and benefits gained from it cannot be enjoyed by all levels of society regardless of race, religion, gender or economic status.

"Therefore, the state government will ensure that the inclusive development through this plan will not marginalise or exclude any group of people," he said.
