HRH Sultan Of Perak Graces Perak Warriors' Day Celebration.

IPOH, 31 July 2022 – HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Perak State Level Warriors' Day celebration at Dataran Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan this morning.
His Royal Highness’ arrival at 9am was accompanied by HH Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa and HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzulkarnain Sultan Idris A'fifullah Shah.
Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, Perak Police Chief Dato' Mior Faridalathrash Wahid, Western Fleet Commander Rear Admiral Datuk Abu Bakar Md Ajis, 2nd Brigade Commander Brig Gen Mohd Azmurin Mat Khalib and State Exco Members.
The ceremony began with the singing of the Perak anthem followed by an inspection of the guard of honour by the Sultan, comprising three senior police officers and 102 junior officers from the 1st Battalion of the General Operations Force (GOF) Northern Brigade, Ulu Kinta led by DSP Md Shazni Md Shariff.
The flag bearer was Insp Mohd Izar Ramli with a detachment of 780 officers and members from 11 departments and government and security agencies.
After the guard of honour inspection, the Last Post was played and the Jalur Gemilang was lowered.
The ceremony continued with the recitation of a special Warrior's Day prayer by ASP Mohd Mahyuddin Mohd Mokhtar from the Ipoh District Police Headquarters, followed by the recitation of a poem entitled 'Pahlawanku' by ASP Ahirrudin Mat Saat from the GOF Royal Malaysian Police.
Thereafter, the Rouse was played and the Jalur Gemilang was raised again followed by the Perak anthem before the guard of honour exited the parade, marking the end of the ceremony.
His Majesty then graced a reception and watch some singing and pantomime performances in the Banquet Hall before returning home.
