The Perak Chief Penghulu Office succeeded in winning the Menteri Besar Innovation Award.

IPOH, 19 October 2022 - The Chief Penghulu Office of Perak created a surprise when its innovation project, the 'e-Penghulu System' was announced as the winner of the Menteri Besar Innovation Award (AIMB).

The success enabled the Perak Chief Penghulu Office to take home cash RM20,000 from the State Government and RM30,000 from Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBInc), making a total of RM50,000 in cash, including a certificate of appreciation and trophy.

The presentation of awards was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad during the Perak State Level Innovation Day Celebration 2022 at the Perak State Secretariat Banquet Hall.

The e-Penghulu system is a system currently used by all Penghulu Mukim Offices in Perak to provide services to the people in various types of dealings. This system has now become a benchmark for other states in measuring the level of service delivery given to the people.

To liven up the event, Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad also launched the new Park@Perak logo and presented a certificate of appreciation to Mohamad Rasshuwan Sukawati as the winner of the competition.

The Park@Perak logo competition was held from 4 – 18 April 2022 with the aim of rebranding a more contemporary logo to highlight a dynamic and futuristic aspect and promote the application throughout Perak.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and State Youth, Sports, Communication and Multimedia Committee Chairman Khairul Shahril Mohamed.
