SUK Perak eSports team was among the incentive recipients at the event.

IPOH, 31 January 2023 – Staff of the Perak State Secretariat were urged to be constantly aware of the state and federal government’s policies to ensure that they are well implemented.

State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim said all civil servants need to pay attention to the 2nd thrust of the five focuses presented by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad in his Executive Talk and New Year Message 2023, i.e., strengthening synergy in the delivery system.

"We need to take collective responsibility to be agents of change and streamline governance efficiency in organisations so that the public service remains dynamic and empowered all the time.

"The synergy of cooperation between organisations needs to be constantly improved to achieve the main goal of public service, especially in serving the people and prospering the state," he said.

He said this in his speech at the Message and Appreciation Ceremony for Perak State Secretariat Staff 2023.

Also present were State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Norsham Rahman and Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun.

Dato' Ahmad Suaidi added that the awards and success of Perak were the result of the sweat of the State Secretariat staff and all civil servants in the state.

"I wish to take this opportunity to congratulate all those involved directly or indirectly in the success of Perak for 2022.

"I am confident that we are capable of creating more success for the development and wellbeing of Perak," he said.

At the event, the State Secretary also presented incentives to the SUK Perak contingent for their success at the National State Secretariat Sports Carnival (SUKSEM) 2022.

Among the teams that received incentives were eSports, soccer, sepak takraw and netball.
