GERIK, 25 February 2023 - The Perak Entrepreneur Day Tour programme 2023 organised by the state government under the Women, Family, Social Welfare and Entrepreneur Development Committee will go on a roadshow throughout the state.

Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said this when officiating the programme at Arena Datuk Hasbullah this morning.

"We will go on a roadshow throughout Perak, from one district to another and today we start with Hulu Perak district. After this, our next destination is Muallim district.

"We bring together more than 40 entrepreneur agencies and banks that provide various grants, loans and guidance programmes for entrepreneurs. In fact, you can also visit the more than 50 stalls selling products from Hulu Perak entrepreneurs," he said.

He added that the two-day programme from 25 – 26 February 2023 aimed to give entrepreneurs the opportunity to introduce their products to the public, especially residents in the surrounding areas.

"This programme is to showcase the entrepreneurs’ products to the public and give encouragement and motivation to others to become entrepreneurs, as I have always said, every entrepreneur needs to have the 5Ds.

"The 5Ds are dorongan, daya usaha, dedikasi, disiplin and doa (encouragement, effort, dedication, discipline and prayer). I believe, with strong determination and willpower in whatever we do, the results will definitely be extraordinary. God willing.

"This can also produce entrepreneurs with diversity and added value to a product," he said.

He hoped this initiative would be a catalyst to invigorate entrepreneurs in Perak.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Women, Family, Social Welfare and Entrepreneur Development Committee Chairman Salbiah Mohamed, State Science, Environment and Green Technology Committee Chairman Teh Kok Lim and State Agriculture Development Corporation (SADC) Group Manager Yahanis Yahya.
