This year, the Meet The Clients Day Mesra Programme will be held alternately at Stadium Indera Mulia, Ipoh and then to other districts.
PARIT, 2 March 2023 - Perak Tengah District became the first destination for this year's Meet The Clients Day Mesra Programme Tour Series aimed at giving local residents the opportunity to meet State Exco Members and state and district department heads to resolve their respective complaints.
Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said during the meeting session, a total of 170 complaints were recorded with the highest number of complaints through the Menteri Besar counter and Perak Tengah District and Land Office.
"This year, the Meet The Clients Day Mesra Programme will be held alternately at Stadium Indera Mulia, Ipoh and then to other districts.
"This tour was conducted in order to give space and chance to the surrounding residents to meet with the state government leadership in order to provide a solution to the complaints and problems faced.
"Although we actually want to give the opportunity to local people, there were also many who came from outside the district. As usual, we are responsible to serve them regardless of whether they are from the areas around Perak or from outside the state of Perak," he added.
He said this at a press conference session during the Perak State Government Meet The Clients Day Programme Series 2/2023 at Arena Square Parit this afternoon.
In this series, a total of 120 customer service counters, 9 exhibition booths, 4 mobile counter services and several tents selling entrepreneurs’ products were provided for the visitors.
Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and State Exco Members.
Meanwhile, Dato' Seri Saarani also presented monetary aid of RM1,000 from the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) to 151 residents in Mukim Belanja, Layang and Bota, who were affected by the floods in November last year.
