HRH Sultan of Perak and HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak graced the Investiture Ceremony of State Honours and Medals 2022.

KUALA KANGSAR, 11 March 2023 - HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Investiture Ceremony of State Honours and Medals 2022 at Istana Iskandariah here.

Also gracing the occasion were HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim, HH Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa, HH Raja Puan Besar Raja Nazhatul Shima Sultan Idris A'fifullah Shah, HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzulkarnain Sultan Idris A'fifullah Shah and HH Raja Puan Muda Perak Tunku Soraya Sultan Abdul Halim.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and State Exco Members.

At the ceremony, HRH Sultan of Perak conferred state honours and medals on 181 recipients.

The investiture ceremony included the Darjah Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (PCM) with 5 recipients, Darjah Paduka Mahkota Perak (PMP) 23 recipients, Darjah Ahli Cura Si Manja Kini (ACM) 16 recipients, Darjah Ahli Mahkota Perak (AMP) 42 recipients, Pingat Pekerti Terpilih (PPT) 46 recipients, Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK) 40 recipients and Pingat Lama Perkhidmatan (PLP) 9 recipients.

Among the recipients were State Education Director Aznan Alias, Taiping Hospital Head of Psychiatric Department Dr. Eni Rahaiza Muhamed Ramli, 94 Armed Forces Hospital Dental Pathologist Brigadier General Dr. Hazudin Hassan, Royal Malaysian Navy Provost Marshal Captain Roslee Mohamad Isa and Melaka Deputy Health Director (Public Health) Dr. Ruzita Mustaffa who were conferred the Darjah Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (PCM).

The Darjah Paduka Mahkota Perak (PMP) was awarded to Perak Water Board Engineer Amarudin Ahmad Barkat, Taiping Municipal Council Secretary Kamaruzzaman Kamari, Perak Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department Head ACP Lee King Chuan and Kinta District Officer Meor Hezbullah Meor Abd. Malek.

This ceremony was part of the 212 recipients announced on 3 Nov 2022.

On 4 March, Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohd Zuki Ali headed the list of 22 individuals who received the honours and medals.
