His Royal Highness leaving after the Hari Raya Aidiladha Celebration at Sekolah Agama Izzudin Shah.

IPOH, 29 June 2023 – HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah performed the Aidiladha prayers with about 1,000 congregants at the Sultan Azlan Shah Mosque, Jalan Raja Musa Mahadi this morning.

Accompanying the Sultan was HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah.

The Sultan’s arrival at about 8.30 am was welcomed by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad and State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim.

Also present were Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja Jeneral Dato' Seri Diraja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd Zahidi Zainuddin (Bersara), State Rural Development, Plantation, Agriculture and Food Industry Committee chairman Dato' Mohd Zolkafly Harun, Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk) President Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohd. Annuar Zaini and Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk) Director Harith Fadzilah Abdul Halim.

Main imam Syed Mohd Muzzaffar Syed Azlan who led the prayers also delivered a sermon titled 'Ibadah Korban – Bukti Takwa ke Hadrat Ilahi'.

The sermon, among other things, called on Muslims to celebrate Hari Raya Aidiladha with gratitude while prioritising the distribution of sacrificial meat to the less fortunate.

In addition, the sermon also reminded Muslims to take heed of the pilgrimage where all humans are equal in the eyes of God and a person’s advantage lies in the nature of piety.

After the prayers, His Royal Highness proceeded to the Hari Raya Aidiladha Celebration at Sekolah Agama Izzudin Shah.

Also gracing the celebration were HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim, HH Raja Puan Besar Perak Raja Nazhatul Shima Sultan Idris Shah and HH Raja Puan Muda Perak Tunku Soraya Sultan Abdul Halim.
