IPOH, 16 August 2023 - The State Government today held the Perak State Government Meet The Clients Day MESRA Programme series 7/2023 at the Indera Mulia Stadium.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said a total of 136 complaints were received and up to series 6, 786 complaints out of 833 complaints received had been resolved. Meanwhile, 37 complaints are still pending.

He added that a total of 69 customer service counters, including the heads of state departments and agencies together with the Menteri Besar and state exco members were involved in serving the customers.

Also, 10 exhibition booths, 7 mobile service counters and 12 business products were also available for visitors.

At this MESRA, the Perak State Government and Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) also held a RAHMAH Sales Programme for two days from 16 -17 August 2023.

Dato' Seri Saarani said the RAHMAH Sales Programme offered basic necessities at discounted prices ranging from 10 to 30 percent cheaper than local market prices.

He also officiated the launch of the Merdeka Consumer-Trader Roadshow Programme held in conjunction with the Perak State Level National Day 2023. A total of 30 participants were involved in this programme.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and Perak KPDN Director Datuk Kamalludin Ismail.

Dato' Seri Saarani also officiated the Handover Session of Offer Letters to Participate in the Domestic and Foreign Trade Exhibitions and Expos under the State Government via the Perak State Entrepreneurs Secretariat (STeP).

A total of 20 Perak entrepreneurs were selected to participate in the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2023 programme at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) Kuala Lumpur from 12-15 September 2023.

After that, the Selangor International Expo F&B (SIE) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) from 19-22 October 2023 and the 10th OIC Halal Expo at Istanbul Expo Centre Turkiye from 23-26 November 2023.
