HRH Sultan Of Perak Confers Awards, Medals On 209 Recipients.

Their Royal Highnesses during the Investiture Ceremony of the Perak State Awards and Medals. 

KUALA KANGSAR, 18 November 2023 – HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah and HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim graced the Investiture Ceremony of State Awards and Medals in conjunction with His Royal Highness’ Birthday 1445H/2023M at Istana Iskandariah here.

Also gracing the occasion were HH Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa and HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja Jen. Dato' Seri DiRaja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd. Zahidi Zainuddin (Rtd), State Assembly Speaker Dato' Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and State Exco Members.

At the ceremony, the Sultan conferred the Perak State Awards and Medals on 209 recipients.

The investiture ceremony comprised 13 recipients of the Darjah Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (PCM) 2023, Darjah Paduka Mahkota Perak (PMP) 31 recipients, Darjah Ahli Cura Si Manja Kini (ACM) 20 recipients, Darjah Ahli Mahkota Perak (AMP) 42 recipients, Pingat Pekerti Terpilih (PPT) 57 recipients, Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK) 31 recipients and Pingat Lama Perkhidmatan (PLP) 15 recipients.

Heading the list of recipients for the State Awards and Medals 1445H/2023M this second session was Malaysian Armed Forces Health Services Management Division Head, Brigadier General Dr. Mohd Arshil Moideen, who received the Darjah Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (PCM). 

The other PCM recipients were Public Health Physician Dr. Nor Sihimah Wahid, Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation (MRANTI) Chairman Dr Rofina Yasmin Othman, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Azlan Shah (UPSI) Registrar Helmi Zaifura Abdul Rahman, Ipoh District Police Chief ACP Yahya Hassan and State Secretariat Local Government Division Senior Deputy Director Mufidah Mahfodz. 

The Darjah Paduka Mahkota Perak (PMP) was awarded to Ipoh City Council Management Services Director Abdul Halim Saad, Teluk Intan Hospital Senior Consultant (Psychiatry) Dr. Ahmad Shukri Chew Abdullah, Pengkalan Baharu State Assemblyman Azman Noh, Perak Menteri Besar’s Political Secretary Mohamad Hamidi Baharuddin and State Secretariat Management Services Division Secretary Nuruljaswa Abd Hamid. 

Also, two national athletes, Mohamad Rifdean Masdor who is a three-time muaythai world champion, and Muhd ​​Shafiq Puteh, bronze medallist of the 3m springboard synchronized diving event at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, were awarded the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK). 

In conjunction with the Birthday of HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah 1445H/2023M, His Royal Highness has consented to confer the State Awards and Medals on 238 recipients. 

At the first investiture ceremony on 5 November 2023, Perak Mufti Dato' Seri Wan Zahidi Wan Teh, who led the list of 24 State Awards and Medals 1445H/2023M recipients, was conferred the Dato' Seri Paduka Mahkota Perak (SPMP) which carries the title Dato' Seri.
