The State Government held the Perak State Government Meet The Clients Day MESRA Programme series 10/2023 today.

BAGAN DATUK, 23 November 2023 - The State Government held the Perak State Government Meet The Clients Day MESRA Programme series 10/2023 at Dewan Lope Hashim here this afternoon.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said a total of 90 complaints were received today. From series 1 - 9, a total of 1,013 (77%) out of 1,308 complaints had been resolved, while 295 complaints are still pending.

 He added that the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living’s RAHMAH Sale was also held in collaboration with strategic partners, SEGI Fresh and Perak State Agriculture Development Corporation (SADC), which conducted cheap sales of basic necessities with discounts of up to 50 percent.

"I had the opportunity to witness the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony between Perak Menteri Besar Incorporated (MB Inc.) and Younchang Engineering and Construction (M) Sdn. Bhd. and Chin Hin Group Berhad for the proposed Bagan Datuk International Fishery Industrial Park Project.

"Through this MoU, MB Inc. and the two strategic partners will develop a global class fishing industry centre and be the main economic driver in the fishing and halal food industry in Bagan Datuk.

"Besides providing added value to the development of knowledge and high-tech expertise in the fishing industry and fishery products produced in Malaysia, the initiative is also expected to provide more than 5,500 job opportunities," he said.

Also present were State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, MB Inc. Chief Executive Officer Anuar Zainal Abidin and State Exco Members.
