Members of the public queuing up early in the morning at the Lost World of Tambun Theme Park.

IPOH, 23 December 2023 – A total of 1,500 people attended the Kelab Seri Perak Darul Ridzuan (KESEDAR) Family Day Programme 2023 at the Lost World of Tambun Theme Park.

The guests present were KESEDAR members together with their families.

The ceremony at around 9.00 am started with the arrival of State Secretary cum KESEDAR President Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, accompanied by KESEDAR Vice President Dato' Nor Sham Rahman.

Dato' Ahmad Suaidi said such a programme was very important to create awareness in recognising the family as the basis of life, essential in building a loving society towards the well-being of the country.

"Besides that, we can also strengthen well-being and produce a generation that understands and appreciates family values.

"An organisation cannot be successful on its own without the support and cooperation from all parties. Put aside the culture of working in silos or working in one's own community in line with reforms in the national public service," he added.

Also present were Perak State Museum Board Director Mohamad Amir Mohd Dahalan and Perak Housing and Property Board CEO Mohamed Akmal Dahalan.

The ceremony was brightened up with a lucky draw session and various sports events involving children and adults, such as Zumba for warming up and tug-of-war.
