HH the Raja DiHilir of Perak performing the Maghrib prayer in congregation.

BAGAN DATUK, 29 March 2024 – HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Idris Shah graced the Bagan Datuk District Breaking of Fast Ceremony at Masjid Tuminah Hamidi here.

His Highness’ arrival was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad.

Also present were State Assembly Speaker Dato' Mohd Zahir Abdul Khalid, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Rungkup State Assemblyman Dato' Shahrul Zaman Yahya, Bagan Datuk Territorial Chief Toh Seri Lela Paduka Dato' Dr. Khalid Ismail, Bagan Datuk District Officer Muhamad Ghopran Yeop Hamzah, Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk) Director Harith Fadzilah  Abdul Halim and heads of departments and agencies.

At the event, HH the Raja DiHilir of Perak broke fast with the congregation and performed the Maghrib prayer before proceeding to the reception, followed by the Isyak and Tarawih prayers.

Masjid Tuminah Hamidi, built in 2017 with a capacity of 5,000 worshippers, is one of the landmarks and attractions in the Bagan Datuk District, and is often the focus of the public due to its unique architecture.
