A total of 154 complaints were received.

TAPAH, 13 May 2024 - Batang Padang was the second district for the Meet The Clients Day (MCD) MESRA programme 3rd series this year. The programme was held at Dewan Merdeka here this afternoon.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said a total of 154 complaints were received. As of the 2nd series, out of 401 complaints received, 354 (88%) were resolved. The remaining 47 (12%) complaints are still pending as they are complex complaints involving land and allocation matters that require the attention of many parties.

"As usual, there are also sales of raw foodstuffs and daily necessities at cheap prices from Yayasan Bina Upaya and State Agricultural Development Corporation, and RAHMAH Sales by the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry in collaboration with SEGI Supermarket.

"This time the programme involved 69 customer service counters, 8 mobile counters and more than 10 exhibition booths," he said.

Meanwhile, he also presented funds approved through the Sejahtera Komuniti MADANI (SejaTi MADANI) Programme to nine Village Development and Security Committees (JPKK).

"The SejaTi MADANI programme is a new Federal Government initiative to stimulate economic activities at the community level to increase income by providing funds of up to RM100,000 to eligible communities.

"As of 13 May 2024, Perak is still the state with the highest number of users in terms of Community ID generation of the MySejaTi Madani System with 276 communities, and with a total of 86 programme applications received.

"The good synergy between the State and Federal Governments has enabled Perak to be the first state to be approved funds under the SejaTi MADANI Programme," he added.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Exco Members and Batang Padang District Officer Ahmad Redhauddin Ahmad Shokori.
