Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, representing SUK Perak, receiving the Special Security Protection Award 2023 [Five Stars (Excellent)].

PUTRAJAYA, 28 May 2024 - Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman represented the Perak State Secretariat (SUK Perak) in receiving the Special Security Protection Award 2023 with a five-star rating in the State Secretariat category.

The award presentation was officiated by Public Services Director-General (KPPA) Dato' Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz in conjunction with the National Security Protection Convention 2024 at Dewan Damar Sari 3, Federal Government Administrative Centre.

At the ceremony, Manjung Municipal Council (MPM) was one of the six departments that received the highest recognition and appreciation via the Premier Security Protection Award, and also a five-star recognition in the Special Security Protection Award.

Besides SUK Perak and MPM, the other recipients of the five-star recognition were the Selama District Council in the local authority category, Perak Social Security Organisation (PERKESO) in the Statutory Body category, as well as the Perak Registration of Societies Department and National Land and Survey Institute (INSTUN) in the State Federal Department category.

Meanwhile, Muallim District and Land Office received a four-star recognition in the District and Land Office category.

Also present at the award presentation was Government Security Director-General Dato' Rahimi Ismail.
