HRH Sultan Of Perak Graces Perak Warriors' Day Celebration.

IPOH, 31 July 2024 - HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Perak State Warriors' Day Celebration 2024 at Dataran Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan.
Also gracing the occasion were Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa and Raja Di Hilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah.
His Royal Highness’ arrival at 9am and was welcomed by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, Perak Police Chief Dato' Pahlawan Azizi Mat Aris, TLDM Western Fleet Commander Vice-Admiral Dato' Shamsuddin Ludin, 2nd Malaysian Infantry Brigade Commander Brigadier General Dato' Pahlawan Asri Shukor and Air Force Academy Commandant Colonel Rafiddee Dollah.
Also present were HH Raja Kecil Tengah Perak Raja Dato' Seri Iskandar Raja Ziran, Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja Gen. Dato' Seri DiRaja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd. Zahidi Zainuddin (Rtd), State Assembly Speaker Dato' Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Exco Member, State Assemblymen, Territorial Chiefs, and heads of state and federal departments.
The ceremony began with the singing of the Perak anthem followed by inspection of the main guard of honour by the Sultan, comprising three senior officers and 102 members from the Perak Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK) led by DSP Mohd Faizan Ahmad, assisted by ASP Wan Ahmad Fahmi.
The flag-bearer was Inspector Muhammad Syamil Abdul Manan, with a detachment of 408 officers and members of the security forces comprising military veterans and retired police officers.
The main guard of honour was accompanied by the Kedah Contingent PDRM Band, with 38 members under the leadership of Sub-inspector Abdul Rasid Abdullah.
Once the guard of honour was over, the Last Post was played and the Jalur Gemilang was lowered.
The ceremony continued with a doa recitation by ASP Mohd Mahyuddin Mohd Mokhtar, followed by a poem ‘Darah Yang Terpercik Di Baju’ composed by Norazimah Abu Bakar, recited by Corporal Nurul Syuhada Azmi from IPK Perak and Lance Corporal Mohamad Fazreen Jamaluddin from the Royal Ranger Regiment 9th Battalion.
Then, the Rouse was played and the Malaysian flag was raised again followed by the Perak anthem before the guard of honour exited the parade.
HRH the Sultan of Perak then attended a banquet at the State Secretariat Banquet Hall before departing.
