IPOH, 7 August 2024 – Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad officiated the Kelab Seri Perak Darul Ridzuan (KESEDAR) Trim and Fit Perak Sejahtera 2030 Programme Launch Ceremony at the Banquet Hall in Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan.

He was accompanied on arrival by KESEDAR President Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Exco Members, Deputy State Secretary (Management) and KESEDAR Vice President Dato' Nor Sham Rahman.

Also present were Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun and Perak Sports Council (MSN) Director Mazlan Mohamad.

This collaborative programme between KESEDAR and Perak Health Department (JKN) is a health and weight management intervention implemented at the workplace for eight weeks from 7 August 2024 to 2 October 2024.

It involves four categories, namely men under 40, men over 40, women under 40 and women over 40.

Also, the best participants who successfully lose weight for each category will receive a cash prize to boost their enthusiasm and adopt a healthy lifestyle, besides producing active and productive employees.

The first place will receive cash of RM3,000, second place RM2,000 and third place RM1,000.

Earlier, there was also a briefing at 9.30am by JKN Nutrition Science Officer Nursyakirah Ahmad Kamil on "Eat to Fit". This was followed by a briefing on "Eating Like an Athlete" by MSN Sports Nutrition Specialist Habibah Baharuddin.
