HRH Sultan Of Perak Graces MCKK Excellence Award Ceremony.

His Royal Highness presenting excellence awards to outstanding students.
KUALA KANGSAR, 10 August 2024 - HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Malay College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK) Excellence Award Ceremony at Tun Abdul Razak Auditorium.
At the ceremony, Sultan Nazrin presented excellence awards to 145 students.
Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, State Assembly Speaker Dato' Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Education, Higher Education, Youth and Sports Committee Chairman Khairudin Abu Hanipah and MCKK Principal Shahadan Abd Rahman.
The Special Board of Governors Award was conferred on the late Tun Dato' Seri Diraja Mohammed Hanif Omar.
Born in Teluk Anson (now known as Teluk Intan), he received his early education at the Anglo-Chinese School (ACS), then continued his studies at MCKK and achieved various distinctions.
He was appointed as the fourth Inspector-General of Police at the age of 35 on 8 June 1974 for 20 years, before retiring on 16 January 1994.
He passed away on 20 April 2024 due to kidney disease at his residence in Shah Alam.
