BHEUU Policy and Research Section Director and his delegation’s courtesy visit to the Perak State Secretariat.

IPOH, 2 September 2024 - Director of the Policy and Research Section of the Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU), Prime Minister's Department (JPM), Kevin Geh Kien Meng together with his delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Perak State Secretariat.

His arrival was welcomed by Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, Human Resource Management Division Secretary Azraie Harun, Management Services Division Secretary Nuruljaswa Abd. Hamid and Corporate Division Principal Assistant State Secretary Anita Amri.

Also present were BHEUU Policy and Research Section Principal Assistant Director Dr. Faiza Iskak and BHEUU Policy and Research Section Administrative Officer Faezah Mustapa.

The courtesy visit session aims to discuss the Holistic Engagement Session to Determine the Mechanism for Establishing the Northern Zone Ombudsman Malaysia.

The Holistic Engagement Session to Determine the Mechanism for Establishing the Northern Zone Ombudsman Malaysia will involve the states of Kedah, Perlis, Penang and Perak as hosts. 

In the same development, the Cabinet Meeting on 12 June 2024 agreed that a holistic engagement session should be carried out by BHEUU JPM in collaboration with the Public Complaints Bureau, Prime Minister's Department, and the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) within three months to determine the mechanism for the establishment and implementation of Ombudsman Malaysia.
