The projects started in early August 2024 and was fully completed by the end of October 2024.
Auditor-General Datuk Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi said the decision to upgrade the 10 projects was the result of the collaboration of the MADANI Adopted Village Committee, Perak State Government, and Larut Matang and Selama Irrigation and Drainage Department, involving an allocation of RM2.5 million.
"Among the projects implemented were the upgrading of roads and drains at Jalan Wan Jaafar, and the maintenance of the drainage system and Sungai Ijok to address the flood problem which also involves nearby areas.

Coincidentally, Kampung Masjid Ijok is located along the route to two of the seven waterfalls, namely Lata Puteh and Lata Titi Dua.
