HRH Sultan of Perak gracing the Guard of Honour Ceremony in conjunction with the Pledge of Loyalty and Investiture Ceremony of State Awards.

KUALA KANGSAR, 9 November 2024 - HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced a Guard of Honour Ceremony at the Pledge of Loyalty and Investiture Ceremony in conjunction with His Royal Highness’ Birthday Celebration at Istana Iskandariah here.

His Royal Highness was accompanied by HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim.

Also gracing the occasion were HH Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa, HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah and HH Raja Puan Muda Perak Tunku Soraya Sultan Abdul Halim.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad and wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin, Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja Gen (Rtd) Dato' Seri DiRaja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd. Zahidi Zainuddin, State Assembly Speaker Dato' Mohd Zahir Abdul Khalid, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Advisor Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Exco Members, State Assemblymen, Senators and heads of state and federal departments.

His Royal Highness then inspected the main guard of honour mounted by 102 members and three officers of the Royal Army Engineer Regiment 2 Division, led by Colonel Abdul Rahim Hamzah.

A 21-gun salute was fired by the 41st Battery, Royal Artillery Regiment based in Sungai Buluh Camp, Selangor, led by Major Hafizan Mat Ghani.

In conjunction with the Birthday of HRH Sultan of Perak this year, a total of 213 recipients will be conferred the Perak State Awards and Medals.

Of the total, 59 individuals will receive the awards at Istana Iskandariah in Bukit Chandan here today.
