State Secretary’s Meeting With Perak District Officers.

The meeting aimed to emphasise the achievement of state revenue and set Perak's goals and directions for 2025.
IPOH, 6 January 2025 - State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim chaired the State Secretary's Meeting with District Officers (SSDO) at the State Operations Room, Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here.
The meeting aimed to emphasise the achievement of state revenue and set Perak's goals and directions in realising the implementation of the Perak Sejahtera 2030 Programme for 2025.
In his message, Dato' Ahmad Suaidi said the main focus of the state's development planning this year is based on the Perak Budget 2025, which was tabled on 29 November 2024, and themed "Perak Makmur, Rakyat Sejahtera".
"Based on the budget, the allocation for this year’s development is RM538.0 million, the highest amount ever allocated by the State Government.
"Hence, this increase enables the state's economic growth to remain competitive and development to be implemented in line with the Perak Sejahtera Plan 2030," he said.
Also present were Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun, Perak State Land and Mines Director Dato' Mohamad Fariz Mohamad Hanip, and Perak District Officers.
Dato' Ahmad Suaidi also informed that development expenditure via Code P06 of the District and Land Office in 2024 was well spent and showed encouraging performance towards the end of the year.
"Therefore, RM23.32 million has been allocated under Code P06 for District and Land Offices in Perak this year, with an increase of 15% compared to 2024. This is a positive indication and reflects the State Government's trust in the district administration in implementing development projects based on current and urgent needs.
"However, I would like to remind all District Officers to carefully plan development projects from the first quarter of 2025 and ensure that the allocation is fully spent so that the benefits can be optimally felt by the people," he said.
At the meeting, Dato' Ahmad Suaidi also extended his congratulations to the entire Perak land administration staff for their dedication and hard work, which led to the historic achievement of Perak in 2024 when the state revenue collection reached RM1.0 billion as early as October 2024.
