Perak Carries Out Digital Transformation Via E-Tanah Day.

IPOH, 25 January 2025 – Perak continues to progress in digital transformation with the organisation of Perak e-Tanah Day, an innovative initiative first introduced by the Perak Land and Mines Office together with the Perak District and Land Offices.
Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said the main objective of the programme is to introduce the e-Tanah System to the people.
According to him, this goal is in line with the State Government's commitment to improve the quality of service delivery via the Digital Government approach.
"This system enables land matters to be carried out online, making it easier for the people and saving time.
"The success of this system can be seen through the increase in land collection revenue from RM606.6 million in 2020 to RM913.9 million in 2024, proving its effectiveness in optimising land administration," he said at a press conference after officiating the Perak e-Tanah Day at Stadium Indera Mulia here.
Also present were State Legal Advisor Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Exco Members, Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun, State Land and Mines Director Dato' Mohamad Fariz Mohamad Hanip, and heads of state departments.
Dato' Seri Saarani said this programme also supports the Perak Sejahtera 2030 agenda, especially in empowering the digital economy and encouraging the use of technology among civil servants and the public.
"Today, we also witness the launch of three new innovations to facilitate land-related matters, i.e., e-TAPS System, On-Site Module, and the e-Tanah mobile application, which will revolutionise land management.
"I am confident that this Perak e-Tanah Day will have a positive impact and ensure that land administration continues to show excellent performance for the benefit of the state and its people as a whole," he added.
The Perak e-Tanah system is an online system provided by the State Government to facilitate matters related to land management.
This system allows the public to access various services such as land title registration, land status review applications, and various land-related matters more easily and efficiently.
