IPOH, 20 February 2025 – Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad attended the Kelab Seri Perak Darul Ridzuan (KESEDAR) Gala Night 2025 at the Banquet Hall, Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan.

He was accompanied on arrival by KESEDAR President Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, KESEDAR Vice President Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, and Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun. Also present was State Sports Council (MSN) Director Mazlan Mohamad.

On that night, Dato' Seri Saarani also presented prizes to the sports houses winners in conjunction with the KESEDAR Sports Carnival 2023/2024.

The champion was the Royal Blue Knight (blue) sports house under the patronage of Dato' Seri Saarani and sports house head Anita Amri, Corporate Division Principal Assistant State Secretary. The runner-up was the Murasaki (purple) sports house under the patronage of Dato' Nor Sham and sports house head Mohd Azraie Harun, Human Resource Management Division (BPSM) Secretary. Third place was the Shadow Hunter (orange) sports house under the patronage of Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Rahim and the sports house head.

Later, Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad presented prizes to the winners of the Perak Sejahtera 2030@KESEDAR Trim & Fit Programme.

In the male category for 40 years and above, the champion was Management Services Division (BKP) public assistant Rizalman Osman, with a decrease of 11.30 kg. For the under 40 years old, the champion was BKP assistant accountant Faiz Miza Yop Zain, with a decrease of 15.10 kg.

In the female category for 40 years and above, the champion was Economic Planning Unit chief administrative assistant Jaspal Kaur A/P Lal Singh, with a decrease of 9.70 kg. For the under 40 years old, the champion was BKP administrative assistant Atiqah Yasmin Aziz, with a decrease of 11.70 kg.

The winner of each category received RM3,000 in cash, runner-up RM2,000 and third place RM1,000.

The best organisation category was won by the State Assembly and Exco Division, receiving cash RM3,000.00.

Moreover, an incentive of RM200.00, a contribution from the Perak Menteri Besar, was also given to 46 participants who managed to lose weight by five percent.

Finally, the presentation of victory incentives for the 9th National State Secretariat Games 2024 in Terengganu. Dato' Seri Saarani presented incentives to the gold medalllists – Golf team received RM5,500 and Netball team RM9,000. The silver medallist Football team received RM9,000 and bronze medallist Field Bowling team RM3,800.

Sponsors appreciation was also presented to the Perak Agriculture Development Corporation (SADC), Perak Water Board (LAP), Menteri Besar Incorporated (MB Inc) and State Secretary Incorporated (SSI).
