All the handing over of zakat will be managed by MAIPk.

KUALA KANGSAR, 8 March 2025 - HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah received business zakat from four corporate companies amounting to RM3,064,237.08.

The handover session was led by Syarikat BELATI, represented by its Director Mohamad Akmal Dato' Johari, with a payment of RM885,000, followed by Johawaki Plantation Sdn. Bhd., represented by Chief Operating Officer Anizam Bakar, with RM290,000.

The Perak Agriculture Development Corporation, represented by acting CEO Mohd Azhar Mohd Yusof, also handed over business zakat amounting to RM1,089,237.08, while Perak State Secretary Incorporated, represented by acting CEO Zulkefli Abdullah, handed over RM800,000.

All the business zakat handovers were conducted in conjunction with the Breaking of Fast Ceremony with State Exco Members, State Chieftains, Senators, State Assemblymen and department heads at Istana Iskandariah here.

Also gracing the event were HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim, HH Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa, HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah, HH Raja Puan Muda Perak Tunku Soraya Sultan Abdul Halim, HH Raja Kecil Sulong Perak Raja Dato' Seri Ahmad Nazim Azlan Shah Raja Ashman Shah, and HH Raja Kecil Tengah Perak Raja Dato' Seri Iskandar Raja Ziran @ Raja Zaid.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad and wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin, Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja Gen. (Rtd) Dato' Seri DiRaja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd. Zahidi Zainuddin and wife Toh Puan Datin Seri Diraja Puan Sri Hajah Rasiah Md. Nor, State Assembly Speaker Dato' Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid, Higher Education Minister Dato' Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim and wife Datin Che Fauziah Ahmad.

State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Exco Members, Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk) President Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohd Annuar Zaini, State Chieftains, and heads of federal and state departments were also in attendance.

Earlier, His Royal Highness also graciously fulfilled the payment of zakat fitrah to Ahmad Nazim Md. Tajuri, SBU General Manager of MAIPk Zakat and Waqf Collection.
