IPOH, 8 July 2025 – HRH Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Perak Public Service Officers Customary Dinner Reception 2025 at Casuarina@Meru here last night.  

Accompanying His Royal Highness were HRH Raja Permaisuri Tuanku Zara Salim, HH Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa, HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah with HH Raja Puan Muda Perak Tunku Soraya Sultan Abdul Halim Shah.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad and wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin, Raja Kecil Tengah Perak Raja Dato’ Seri Iskandar Raja Ziran @ Raja Zaid, Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja Gen(Rtd) Dato’ Seri Diraja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd Zahidi Zainuddin and wife Toh Puan Datin Seri Diraja Puan Sri Rasiah Mohd Noor, State Assembly Speaker Dato’ Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid and wife Datin Aznee Abu Samah.

Also in attendance were State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim and wife Datin Che Fauziah Ahmad, State Financial Officer Dato’ Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Exco Members, and heads of state and federal departments.

In his speech, Dato' Ahmad Suaidi described the event as a noble gathering that elevated the spirit of upholding the constitutional monarchy, not just a platform for meeting, but rather a symbol of respect and sincere commitment of all state civil servants.

He also called upon Perak civil servants to continue strengthening their resolve and to serve with utmost integrity for the state and the people.

“The civil servants of Perak will always uphold Your Royal Highness’s noble aspirations in striving to develop every inch of this state to bring progress to the backward, protection to the weak, and opportunities to the marginalised.

 “We will also be determined to continue instilling the spirit of service, nurturing trust, and reaping the fruits in the form of the well-being of the people and the dignity of the institution,” he said.

The event, jointly organised by the Perak State Government and the Administrative and Diplomatic Officers Association (PPTD) Perak Branch, aimed to foster a culture of respect and appreciation among civil servants, while also serving as a platform to strengthen professional networks among officers.

It is also a customary public service event that continues to strengthen relationships between leaders and administrative staff, reflecting the spirit of unity in upholding the trust and aspirations of the state.
