Arrival of Her Royal Highness at the event.

MANJUNG, 20 August 2025 - HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim officiated the Contribution Ceremony for Asnaf Families in Manjung District at Dewan Merdeka, Manjung Municipal Council.

Upon arrival, Her Royal Highness was accompanied by HH Raja Dato' Seri Azureen Sultan Azlan Shah, Patron of Kelab Wanita Perak and sister of HRH Sultan of Perak.

Also in attendance were Perak Menteri Besar’s wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin, State Secretary’s wife and PUSPANITA Perak Chairman Datin Che Fauziah Ahmad, Manjung Territorial Chief Toh Seri Bijaya Lt. Col. (R) Dato' Shaharudin Nazari, Kelab Wanita Perak President Dato' Siti Hendon Chik and Manjung District Officer Shamsul Ridzuan Idris.

A total of 100 asnaf families were selected to receive aid coordinated by the Manjung District and Land Office together with the Social Welfare Department (JKM), to ensure that the distribution of contributions was carried out smoothly to the target groups.

Among the aid schemes involved were child aid, general aid, senior citizen aid, disabled worker (OKU) allowance, aid for OKU unable to work, care aid for bedridden chronic patients and care aid for non-bedridden chronic patients.

Her Royal Highness then graciously officiated the symbolic presentation of contributions to representatives of the asnaf family recipients before proceeding to a reception together with the guests.

This event reflects the concern of the royal institution and the Perak State Government, thus demonstrating their continued commitment to ensuring the well-being of the people, especially the asnaf families, in line with the development agenda of Perak.
