IPOH, 5 January 2026 – State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim today received a courtesy visit from Perak Information Department Director Azrul Hasan in an official meeting at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here.

The visit aimed to strengthen working relations and discuss avenues for strategic cooperation between the Perak Information Department and the Perak State Government, particularly in the aspects of delivering information, policy communication and dissemination of accurate and effective information to the people.

During the meeting, the Perak State Government expressed its appreciation for the role of the Information Department as a strategic partner in ensuring that information related to government policies, initiatives and programmes is conveyed effectively, accurately and easily understood by the public.

Meanwhile, Azrul Hasan also reaffirmed the Perak Information Department’s commitment to continue supporting the Perak State Government through a more proactive, inclusive and people-oriented communication approach, in line with the state’s development aspirations.

The courtesy visit reflected the continued cohesion and synergy between federal and state government agencies in strengthening governance and increasing the people’s understanding of the direction and development agenda of Perak.

Also present were Financial Management Services Division Assistant Director Mohd Tazli Abd Hamid, Communication Services and Community Development Division Assistant Director Mohd Fauzi Rosli, Psychological Operations and Issue Management Division Assistant Director Haizuhailie Baharuddin and Cyber Media Division Assistant Director Nornadia Muhaizan.
