Courtesy Visit By ATM Veterans Association On State Secretary.

IPOH, 5 January 2026 – State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim today received a courtesy visit from a delegation of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) Veterans Association in an official meeting at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here.

The visit aimed to strengthen ties and discuss matters related to the welfare, well-being and role of ATM veterans in social and community development in Perak.

During the meeting, the Perak State Government expressed its appreciation for the services and sacrifices of ATM veterans in defending the nation’s sovereignty, besides showing the government’s support for efforts to safeguard the welfare and interests of veterans.

Meanwhile, the ATM Veterans Association conveyed its gratitude for the Perak State Government’s willingness to receive the visit and hoped that strategic cooperation could be strengthened for mutual benefit, especially in empowering the role of veterans as important assets to society and the country.

Also present were ATM Veterans Association President Mazlan Umar, Deputy President Lt. Kol Robia’ai Muhammad (Rtd), Vice President I Damanhuri Mahmud, Vice President II Zon Huri and Secretary Major Hilmy Hamid (Rtd).
