The State Secretary attending the SSI Cup New Year Golf Tournament Prize Giving Ceremony

IPOH, 17 January 2026 – State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim officiated the Perak State Secretary Incorporated (SSI) Cup New Year Golf Tournament Prize Giving Ceremony at the Royal Perak Golf Club (RPGC) here.

Also present were State Legal Advisor Dato’ Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer and RPGC Chairman Dato’ Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Perak PSC Chairman Dato’ Seri Abdul Puhat Mat Nayan and SSI Acting Chief Executive Officer Zulkefli Abdullah

The tournament, organised by SSI in collaboration with the Royal Perak Golf Club (RPGC), involved the participation of 120 players among RPGC members and was held in a competitive and professional atmosphere.

Results of Overall category (0–18): Champion – Amir Azman Dato’ Yusuf with 41 points (OCB); Runner- up –Tun Abdul Nasir Ramly; Third–Heng Puochuin; fourth–Azahar Kamaruddin; fifth – Zainuddin Muhammad.

Best Gross category: Champion – Irmanzylee Rawi; Runner-up – Fong Mum Kin.

A Medal category (0–12): Champion – Siva A/L Gopal; Runner-up – Johari Sham Ahmad Shohor Affendi; Third – Norman Yeoh Yuan You; Fourth – Joshua Lim Phan Yih.

B Medal category (13–18): Champion – Shahriman Saharuddin; Runner-up – Jared Joshua Tan anak Clyne Hardy; Third – Salleh Sahat; Fourth – Teoh Chong Yeen.

C Medal category (19–24): Champion – Cheng Weng Teck, Runner-up – Darius Teh Chee Hin; Third – Daniy Zulfiqar Dazaly; Fourth – Ahmad Zuhairi Misham Zail; Fifth – Chong Yee Syuen.

Ladies category: Champion – Alysha Yan Wai Kuan; Runner-up – Ooi Pooi Ni; Third – Poo Chooi Chee.

It is hoped that this tournament can be a platform to strengthen cooperative networks between agencies and the sports community, besides fostering a healthy lifestyle culture and elevating the image of golf as a medium of unity and sports development in Perak.
