IPOH, 16 APRIL 2020 - The Perak State Government today received donations from three private companies to boost the mission in fighting the Covid-19 outbreak and helping the target groups affected by the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO).
The donations from the three companies were presented to Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu at a brief ceremony held at the Menteri Besar’s Office in the Perak State Secretariat Building.
The donations of 300 units of High Quality Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), 15,000 pieces of Disposable Face Masks and 500 bottles of Hand Sanitizer from Techlab Security Sdn Bhd were presented by its company’s representative Khalid Adam Abdul Aziz.
Next, KBY Holding, represented by Executive Chairman Dato’ Koh Be Yang also donated High Quality PPE for the use of frontliners.
In addition, Puncak Emas Sdn Bhd which was represented by General Manager Dato' Mazelan Mohamed, donated RM50,000 to Ipoh Central Kitchen and another RM50,000 to the Perak Disaster and Social Aid Fund.
Also present at the ceremony were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Financial Officer Dato' Zulazlan Abu Hassan, Orang Kaya-Kaya Imam Paduka Tuan Dato' Dr Afifi Al-Akiti and State Health Director Dato' Dr Ding Lay Ming.
